Supporting the Coal Seam Gas, Mining and Agricultural sectors of the Surat Basin, Southern and South West Queensland, The Macfab Group offers a range of mechanical engineering services including engineering design, systems development and auditing, integrated engineering, manufacturing and fabrication, asset management and management of asset integrity processes, work management systems and technical support.

Led by David McLatchey (B.EngMech {Hons}) and Phillip McLatchey (B.EngMech {Hons}, RPEQ), we are well suited to providing high level engineering support to clients in the coal seam gas and mining sectors as well as within the steel fabrication, construction and power generation industries.
Many of our clients are located on the Western Darling Downs and Surat Basin region including areas around Dalby and Chinchilla. Other clients are in Toowoomba, Southern Queensland and South West Queensland.
We have an industry wide reputation for innovative and cost effective solutions, proficiency in systems development and values-driven interpersonal and management skills. We have extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, and have been servicing this industry sector since 2009. Throughout our involvement in multiple projects and services, we have proven ourselves skilled and reliable and become thoroughly conversant in the industries processes and systems.
